I found the Fax Sheet I got from Angel Records in 97.
See it at: http://im.on-d.net/cg.gif
This is their Inside Promotion or "Hot" sheet.
See the track listing on the lower right.

Ok, Got it.
The cut track that was to be placed before "Happy Valley" as track 3 of 4 was:
"Violin Solo - A movement on Chinese Opera" by Tan Dun.

I have no other information about it, sorry.

Very interesting, mine has 3 Tracks. See it at: http://im.on-d.net/cg.jpg Rijko, can you provide a scan (100dpi) for your CD so we can all compare. Any one else have a count that may differ from that of Rijko & me? I am going to look for the announcement info I have on the release of CG and see...

I had this piece on a CD-R that VM's management had given me. Unfortunately the CD-R became damaged not long after I had received it will not play in any CD-drive I've tried. I had only listened to it a handful of times. It was a nice, relatively quiet orchastral piece that seemed to fit with the o...

And, just for your information, the track titled "Solace" was originally titled "Inca Dream", "Picante" was originally titled "Salsa Picante" and "Night Flight" was originally titled "Jean-Luc". In the final reworking of the CD for release...

You likely have it and just don't realize it. If your last track on your CD is #12 "Jamais" and is 9 minutes, 1 second long then you have it ! Saying the track is hidden track is kind of misleading, what's really going on is that the last track of her STC CD is actually 2 songs. The first...

If anyone has it, I can set up a space on my fast server that you can upload it to (give you simple instructions on how to do it if you need). From there forum members can download it.

Mpeg4 I believe is now the king for quality vs: file size.

As for Vanessa changing to a new record company. It would probably be good to move to a more progressive organization but such a move is also very risky. Doing such cuts your business ties and can actually disrail her career. My feeling is that she should have changed 3+ years ago when she was stil...

I'm glad I could add some background and clarity to the discussion. There is much more detail than what I wrote but to write more kind of abuses the intent of the forum. Discussing Vanessa-Mae, her music, and our feelings and interactions with Vanessa and her music are more the intentions of a foru...

Jason, No problem. Critcism is fine and usually helpful provided it is delivered in a constructive manner with a positive basis. The current design was done long ago and tools and methods have improved greatly. Weve been working on paying customers sites and let our VM site languish until recently....

Hello all, Maysan and I run the vanessamae.com site and I can understand everyone's concern for its lack of updates. There are many reason why it has been quiet for a good while since any updates have been added. But I'll offer the 2 primary reasons why the site has been stagnant for a while. 1. Wh...
