Vanessa Mae back in Greece on September 14, 2011

Vanessa Mae and her electric violin will be back in Athens for one of her unique performances on September 14, in a concert taking place at the Herod Atticus Odeon beneath the floodlit Acropolis.

With a repertoire spanning classical composers like Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and Vivaldi but also Indian music, pop songs, ballads and works by Greek composer Vangelis, Athens audiences can look forward to what promises to be another unforgettable evening.

As long as Vanessa does concerts, the venue does not matter.....of course I would like to see one in New York, or Miami!

Unfortunate, at the time of Vanessa's performances with Il Divo, I had only bought my first computer just 4 weeks earlier, and had not as yet discovered Vanessa-Mae. ( I am ashamed to say!) Her performances were Dec. 15, 16,and 17 2009. I did not try to join VMF until Dec. 30, 2009 and actually got in as a member around Feb, 2010.

If I had "Computeredup" as so many of my friends did years earlier, I would be up there with Xanthippe as one of the top **VMF Guru's**.

So the answer to your question is "No".

But it will not happen again.

It's a pity but if you didnt know her....well, it wont happen anymore if she goes to the unites states.

Yes, I will be keeping a sharp eye on all of Vanessa's concert lists. Since I am retiring in a week and a half (After 48 years with the same co.) I will be looking for appropriate concerts in Europe also.

That is wonderful, to see someone travels to another continent to have fun in a show... i hope you do it one day. and me too...
but if she makes a concert near where you are, better, right?

A concert here in the USA would be very nice, But with retirement, time and distance will not be a problem.

For our stateside members according to the New York post Vanessa was looking at a apartment at Parc Vendome on West 56th Street. So you may have the chance to see a lot more of Vanessa very soon.

I would travel anywhere on the N.American Continent to see and hear Vanessa.
