Vanessa Mae's Videos

Re: Vanessa Mae's Videos
Personally, I don't consider the umpteenth video(s) of a from the 90's dating television show showing Vanessa-Mae playing Red Hot or Toccata And Fugue not so interesting anymore. We have seen so much of these!
However, the enormous amount of videos like these out there indicate how hot Vanessa-Mae was in those days. She visited numerous countries to perform in television shows. It underlines the considerable impact she had back then and The Violin Player propelled her into worldwide fame. This all marked a change in her life, and she continued this for about a decade recording 7 very different albums, and performing in tour of concerts with hundreds of stops all over the world.
With this, Vanessa-Mae made a remarkable achievement.
She earned our respect, and consideration if all this busy life made her decide to slow down or even quit her career!

I know it's quite boring, but, as a fan, I just uploaded it to share with all of you so that you can see "new things" of her, even though it's almost the same. Shame she does not have any news and material, despite she has said many times she is working on something new...
Re: Vanessa Mae's Videos
Zeta, many thanks for uploading. It was not my intention to criticize this at all, and I hope you will continue to do so. As I said, it is not interesting for me personally anymore, but I am sure it's satisfying many other visitors to this form (actually, I have no idea how popular this forum is these days??? - new members never post and do they usually return??)zeta wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 9:18 am I know it's quite boring, but, as a fan, I just uploaded it to share with all of you so that you can see "new things" of her, even though it's almost the same. Vanessa-Mae is fully entitled to keep her life shielded from publicity as it is now. We should be thankful for all she has given us. Maybe she just has no inspiration anymore to produce anything creative and new. She owes us nothing.
I too wish that she had never suggested that she was working on a new album - but it is what it is.
Back in the early 90's, I found her recording with the Tchaikovsky and Beethoven violin concertos in a record store. I liked the cover photo and was impressed by the performance. I decided to monitor how the career of the young Vanessa-Mae (13-14 yrs) would progress. It resulted in 7 very interesting recordings over the period of the next 10yrs, and I saw her in concert, I think 10 times.
I can accept that her career ends here. It is better this way, then that she releases an album on which she only repeats herself!
