RE: REPERTOIRE

Hello Boys & Girls,

During Vanessa's more recent concerts, what is her usual repertoire or play list of pieces she performs?

On June 20, 2011, Erzeta gave a list of videos of Vanessa's performance in Caesaria, Israel:
Art of War
Hocus Pocus
Bach Street Prelude
Laughing Buddha
Tango de Los Exilados
Saber Dance
Storm
Contradanza
I'm A Doun
Retro
Roxanne's Veil
Toccata and Fugue

Is this the list of what she plays at her most recent concerts?

I think she changes one or two songs in concerts not always the same and she may be pretends include some different track.

In 2010 I attended her concert in Ludwigsburg and there she played the following list of tracks:

- Storm
- Retro
- Bach Street Prelude
- Red Hot
- Roxanne's Veil
- Emerald Tiger
- Laughing Buddha
- Contradanza
- Hocus Pocus
- Sabre Dance
- Wilde Screen
- Bolero for violin and orchestra
- I Am A Doun
- Tango De Los Exilados
- The Havana Slide

Indeed erzeta, thank you for the info and videoclip. That really was a blast from the past, with the Alternative Classical Concert back in 1997. Not only that, but Piazzolla's Fugata (to my knowledge) has never been performed at any of her concerts outside the Alternative Classical Concert.

Here's a few songs from the past I'd like to hear:

Pop:

Classical Gas (the version on the TVP, not the reggae one)
Theme from the Caravans (I understand Rijko heard her play this one, but it's a lot different than the one recorded on TVP)
Paganini's 24th Caprice (Red Hot Tour version)
Aurora
The Devil's Trill
Happy Valley
Deep South

Classical:

Paganini's Moses' Variation on a G string (tuned to a B-flat)
Brahm's Scherzo
Last movement of Bruch's Scottish Fantasy (Allegro)
Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Spring and Winter are my favorites)
The Butterfly Lover's Concerto

Benji,

That is a great selection. I too would like tom see new video clips of Vanessa playing any of thr above, especially the 24th caprice and all of Vivaldi's Four Seasons.

Erzeta,

Thank you for this vid. Yes, Vanessa's fingers really fly. I just wish the camera would show more closeups.

Yes, me too. Even though when the camera makes close up, it's not clear completely, but i prefer that zoom.

And good job Vanessa. I really enjoyed.
