I have a couple of questions:

1) If you have watched Storm Video then you have seen the "To be continued..." Does anybody know something about the other part of this video?...

2) Is the same Red Hot Live and Red Hot Live Mix?

3) Was 'Destiny' Video the video you have expected?

4) Do you know who's Gaston and who's Gaspard?

5) Explain EAR - ly things...

6) Why Pasha is not played in V-Mae concerts?

7) Will V-Mae record an album from her new concerts?

8) What do you think about V-Mae's new gray ZETA?

9) Why V-MAE'S promotion here in México is not as strong as promotion in europe?

10) Why MTV (Latin America) does not show V-Mae Videos?

Hi Jafo,

Here are some answers.

1 I think the Storm vidoe must be seen as is a wink tot the classical purists and critics of Vanessa-Mae. They chase her and will continue to do so.

2 I don't uinderstand what you mean by this question.Please explain?

3 Well I had no prior expectations about the video. But the music is lively and up tempo. The video is in line with this. Vanessa-Mae looks very nice with a wonderful dress.

4 Gaston and Gaspard are the dogs of Vanessa-Mae. Gaston died in early October 2000 as a result of a trafic accident. He escaped form the studio were Vanessa-Mae was finishing the recording of Subject to Change at that moment. Vanessa-Mae bought Gaspard as replacement immediatley.

I have an article that shows Vanessa-Mae with Gaspard. Gaspard is a Sha-pei. I will try to find the original link and post it here later.

5 What do you mean with this question?

6 Well Vanessa-Mae puts together the program. Obviously she didn't select Pasha. I have no idea why not. Maybe others have!!

7 Vanessa-Mae will release a new classical album in the autumn next year. She will probably go on tour afterwards, as she alsways does after a new release.

8 I have never seen the grey zeta yet. I suppose she uses it for special effects. I have seen her use a weird large violin during her concert in Zurich for special effects. This was not the grey zeta, I assume.

9 and 10 I have no idea. I suggest that you send an email to MTV in Latin America. Promotion activities by EMI are not extensive in Europe either.

10. the only music channel i know that plays VM videos frequently is channel V mandarin.

I look since several yEARs MTV in Germany and they haven't ever shown such videos from Vanessa. I wrote several times to the office of MTV, that they should play "Destiny" or something else but they never gave me any respond. It's a bad elitair crew in my opinion.

I also wrote to MTV and Viva germany to play Vm vids but this is 3 years ago. Viva once showed classical gas in their Mulan special and I have taped it.
I can remember that MTV has played T&F in 95 very often when VM pop career started, but at that time I wasn't interested i her music.

It seems that bad promotion for Vanessa-Mae is habitual all over the world, only maybe with the exception of activities in Asia.

Maybe this is caused by a carefully calculated balance between costs and profits.

I wonder if Jafo C ! Null's EAR-ly thing question is the same as mine. I have been curious about that too. Some of you are probably wondering what I'm talking about. If you scroll up to amQhr's message, you'll notice that every time he types a word that has the word 'ear' in it, it would appear in the upper case. What's up w/ that? ? ???

maybe it's his style jeliefish, substituting the words with "ir" or "ere" with "EAR".

as for Vanessa-Mae promotional activities, i think these were unsatisfactory because people are more interested in vocal music. but i don't care. she has a stable career as i see it. i will remain her fan as long as she will play good music!
