This is mine, a jet black Straus which I picked up from a local stringed instruments dealer. Awesome price for such a classy instrument.

Unusual. The body the the right of finger board seems a bit high (probably just an illusion). Not an issue with reaching high notes? What was cost? New, used?

NZ $700 (approx. US $350) with case, and not sure whether it's used/new, but it's in pristine condition. I don't seem to have a problem with high notes, I compared it with my acoustic and the electric even seems a more comfortable fit because it is curved nicely there is no ridge around it.

hmm strauss (reminds me of fender...same sound)

The only violins I own are:
Fender FV1 electric (glossy white)
and my accoustic which was made not so long ago in Philidelphia. to lazy to go have a look and see the date.

I have access to the following violins for whenever i perform
Yamahas latest violin (5 String)
Jordan violin in chameleon color (7 String)
Jensen Violin in wooden color (5 String)
Zeta Fusion in white (5 string)

Well Kevin I have very long fingers and I don't know if the violin isn't a too small instrument for me. Also the Bowwork would strengthen my shoulders. Since Vanessa's extrem Bowmoving my right arm is kind of dead and it runs nothing more updown my neck. I hope you are not disappointed that I would begin to play guitar once more in about some month, when I not get a silent violin from my mother?

So I wish you a lot of up up and downs next yEAR and a fine striving, yQhr amQhr
