Basically, my inactivity it's because i can't contribute much from Argentina. Besides I'm very busy at the moment. I'm also working with Jorgemae to keep our site updated (www.vanessa-mae.com.ar). So, I don't have much time free. Another point is that my english is not fluid, and that holds me back to post in this forum.
But in your message, there was something curious:

And that is really intriguing. What does it mean? Are/were you close to her familly?
Hi El Guille, your English is quite fine here fine and you ever get into language these;1, 2or 3 can be very helpful. Yours and Jorgemae's Vanessa-Mae site is nice. Great for our Spanish speaking fans.
Yes I have know Vanessa since she was a little kid. My Mom and Pamela were good friends (my mom has since passed away). Have visited at her family's nice house in downtown London where I believe Pamela & Gramm still live (Vanessa moved out 2 or 3 years ago). These visits were all pre-Violin Player and were short and fleeting and as families, were were not close. Sadly I don't remember a whole lot of detail,
We visited when she was 8 and then 10. She was quiet, had a lot of hair, big smile, very thin. Her family has a small sunny room over the front door, the music room which had Pamela's small grand piano, shelfs with pictures & nick-nacks. Theres a glass door cabinet filled with sheet music, books and such. By the windows was a big chair or 2, a small table and a music stand. Vanessa & Pamela practiced here alot. I have video somewhere of an 8 or 10 year old Vanessa practicing here.
Yeah, me too Glenn! But if those videos are personals, i think they should be remaining private. The rest of the videos, like her firsts public appareances are very, very, very welcome

No more contact when she began to get famous things changed for Vanessa's life, my mom died, and that link went away and we live in different parts of the world now. Pamela was very controlling (there's much you don't really want to know) and their world closed. You hear Vanessa occasional speak a little of this. Still I did speak/email Mel Bush or VM's office secretary on occasion and got lots of good info & stuff.
I really find most regrettable that Vanessa-Mae has put the release of her autobiography on hold for the time being. I am so interested to read her life story in her own words. Vanessa-Mae has the release of a new album and putting new tour plans together on top of her priorities. I think that is very good because it means that she moves on with her life and doesn't look backwards too much.
Vanessa-Mae's world is still very closed!! She doesn't provide much personal details about her youth and the relation with her mother, nor her present life with Lionel. She considers it as private and she is right: it is indeed!!!
