Ok people,

Hands up if you went to Vanessa-Mae's Birthday Concert?

Ok!

Hands up if you KNEW about Vanessa-Mae's Birthday Concert?

Apparently on the 27th of October our girl did a Special Concert
to celebrate her birthday
it was broadcast live on Classical FM ???

Once again I feel betrayed :(
Vanessa-Mae needs to get her act together she needs to start
knocking a few heads together. It is about time that she takes note
of her many fans for without us she is nobody.

She has got to learn that she has a great tool at her disposal
she needs to learn how to use that tool, I am talking about
her PR. if they can't do the job then she must get rid of the lot of them.

On Classical FM they spoke about it,
about what a wonderful concert it was.

It was a part of there live concerts season which started last month.
Strange for there has been no mention of it in last months
CFM magazine.

I sent Nick Bailey an email for information and I filed request for a replay.

If we all file such a request we might get to hear this concert again!

Anyway, we have to see this from a positive point a view: our dearest Vanessa-Mae is notable active again.

Wouldn't it be great if such a birthday concert would become available on DVD. She mentioned in Classic FM magazine the possibillity that a DVD might be released togehter with the new album.

It is nice to know that our girl is active again,
and like you say this could turn into a DVD, maybe it is
the build up to her new album?

We must not forget that Vanessa-Mae left EMI and that EMI possesses all copyrights on audio recordings and video material since she joined in 1994.

Our girl Vanessa-Mae has to built up copyright of new material, audio and video as well, for herself now.

Basically she has to start all over again.

A DVD release with a live concert on the occasion of her 25th birhtday would make a brilliant start for that.

I am really so thrilled with that idea. I sure hope it will become true!!

and where was the concert?? how was she dressed?? tell me tell me jhahahahah

rijko btw: do you know if theres a possibility that emi releases a cd or dvd with vanessa mae live concerts in video or some stuff in audio about live performances??

and do you know where she signed in??

There was no other details given,
Only that the concert was performed live and transmitted on
the 27th of October.

It was probably in London or even in Singapore (where she was born).

Yes, it is very sad that this wasn't even mentioned on her "official" (not EMI) website. She has been marketed so well that it feels like she is in a big hole right now with NO information on upcoming releases or performances. :(
