What i have been told by Sony they are at this time
in the process of putting together Vanessa-Mae's new
Website and the fans forum which will be using
the vanessa-mae.com domain name.

Hmmm seems that Virgin are sponsors???

Virgin is a record label and part of EMI. Their site is still active:

yep you are correct, i remembered just after.
EMI must be just using the space until the hand over,
which can't be to far off.

No,... that Virgin site is about 5 years old (maybe more) and not updated after its first ~6 months. Do notice it is also not finished and has many dead links.

EMI moved Vanessa's record management and promotion for North America from Angel Records to Virgin Records who are more able to promote a pop release than Angle which primarily promotes classical.

They appeared to promote her for about 2 to 4 weeks, even had a contest (site pop-up) for a short while but it went away and nothing ever happen of it as far as I know.

Glenn is right: the Virgin site was launched about 5 years ago. The site was updated only in the beginning. Some of the links that are dead now were there in the beginning of the site, others were never activated.

It is a real shame what EMI company, EMI Music and associated labels like Virgin, did for our Noodles.
