Vanessa-Mae's birthday - our gift to her

Vanessa-Mae will celebrate her 26th bithday on October 27th, and of course we will otganise a birthday gift to her as we did the past 4 years.

All fans and members of this forum are more than welcome to join.

Last year on the occasion of her 25th bithday, we gave our girl a wonderful Barbie Doll becayse she had admitted in an interview that she never had one as a child.

For this years project, I think that we keep it simple and limit ourselves to a collection of nice birthday cards.

The procedure for all interested to participate is as follows:

- design your own greerting card with your best wishes - love letters of any kind are not allowed.

- all participants can submit one question that they would like to ask Vanessa-Mae - questions regarding Vanessa-Mae's personal live are not allowed.

- send your contribution in any digital format with email to me - om me for my email address.

If anyone has ideas or suggestions for our gift to Vanessa-Mae, please post then here in this topic.

I will attend Vanessa-Mae's concert on October 21st in London, and will combine this concert with a few days of sightseeing. The concert takes place less than a week before Vanessa-Mae's birthday. I will try to get permission to hand over our gift to Vanessa-Mae personally during my stay in London.

So if I am allowed to do so, I will have the opportunity to ask her some direct questions and get answers directly from her.

Therefore, I hope for a lot of contributions and some good questions from the participants.

So I call upon all to join this years birthday project for our Noodles Vanessa-Mae.

Who is going to participate??

BTW, I am thinking about adding a real gift to the cards. I suggest we boy two nice glasses for champagne drinking - we know that our girl likes to drink champagne - and get an inscription of their initials in the glass (VM and LC)

Please give some feedback on this idea.

Think the glasses are a nice idea but I'm not so sure about the inscription - do you think that could a little on the personal side? If it's to be a gift from fans to the artist then it might be a bit presumptious for us to send it as a gift to a couple - we don't know them, really.

In terms of style I do like the Geo selection by John Rocha in waterford c. - the flutes are very cool.
